While Google Adsense was down compared to the prior month, I thought I would share our VigLink revenue. What is amazing is that we generated over 2,000 affiliated clicks in October through VigLink yet the revenue was only $104. Google Adsense generated $317 bringing our total click revenue to $421 for the month.
I continue to believe that with the amount of traffic we generate our click revenue should be much more impressive. Google ads received 1,164,157 impressions and received 543 clicks. What is interesting is the number of clicks through VigLink vs. Google Adsense. There is a large subset of people (myself included) that simply don’t click Google Ads or any other online ads for that matter. However, VigLink does a great job at turning keywords in your forum into active links. I just need to figure out how to get the revenue up with it.
