Today I the opportunity to meet some guys from Confidance IP Solution and EMC to talk about VM Ware and how the future is shaping up for these products. It was a great day… made even better by the fact they held the meeting at the Charlotte Motor Speedway where we all got to drive eight laps with the Richard Petty Driving Experience.
This was my second time driving. Back in 2001 I won a General Motors dealer trip to Las Vegas. Included was an 18 lap Petty Driving Experience at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. While the Vegas tack isn’t banked in the corners like Charlotte… driving speeds reached 154 mph!
Today in Charlotte my top speed was 142 mph… not bad, but I was hoping they would let us run a bit faster. Regardless, if you ever have the opportunity I highly recommend it! It is so much fun and never gets old!
